How to Sleep Well?

Do you Have Enough Sleep?
Answer the questions below. If you answer “yes” to most of the questions, the chances you are sleep deprived.
In the morning:
- · You must have an alarm clock to wake up from your sleep.
- · You always rely on the snooze button to sleep a few more minutes.
- · Getting out of bed in the morning is difficult.
At noon:
- · You are slow moving in the afternoon and you feel sleepy.
- · You have to get a nap to get through the day.
- · You feel sleepy in meetings or lectures and at time suddenly fall asleep
- · You feel sleepy after heavy meals or when driving.
In the evening:
- · You can fall asleep while watching TV or listening to music.
- · You can fall asleep on bed within a few minutes.
Of course, you have to sleep in on weekends to pay off your sleep debt!
Sleep needs vary from person to person. Some need only 4.5 hours per night, but others seem to need more. For adults, consistently sleeping for 7.5 hours per night is optimal for health. If you have enough sleep, you will feel energized, refreshed and alert from the moment you wake up until your regular bedtime.
But, wait a minute. Sometimes, you still feel tire and sleepy after a long sleep, like 8 hours or 10 hours of sleep.
A restful sleep is not just the number of hours on bed or the sleep duration that counts. Large blocks of sleep are really unnecessary. Besides, the quantity of sleep, the key factor is the quality of those hours of sleep.
